Watch & Learn
Ingredients & Tools
Ingredients
- Naan bread or flour tortilla (the pizza base)
- Pizza sauce
- Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- Pepperoni (optional)
Tools
- Air fryer
- Oven mitts
- Spoon (for spreading sauce)
- Plate
Let's Cook!
- Set up your station
- ADULT preheats the air fryer to 375°F (2–3 minutes)
- Lay the naan or tortilla on a plate
- Spread pizza sauce on top with the spoon — spread in circles, leave the edge for the “crust”
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce
- Add pepperoni or any other toppings you want
- ADULT pulls out the basket with oven mitts
- Carefully place your pizza in the basket
- ADULT slides the basket back in
- Set timer: 5–7 minutes for tortilla, 7–9 minutes for naan. Check at the halfway mark.
- Done when cheese is melted and bubbly and edges are crispy
- ADULT removes the basket. Let cool 2 minutes.
- Slide onto a plate, slice if you want, eat!
Pro Tips
- Tortilla base = thin & crispy. Naan base = thicker & chewy. Try both!
- Don't overload toppings — less is more in the air fryer
- If one side cooks faster, rotate the pizza at the halfway check
- Make two personal pizzas with different toppings and see which you like better
Skills Checklist
- I set the temperature and time correctly
- I spread sauce evenly and left a crust edge
- I didn't overload the toppings
- Oven mitts were used for the hot basket
- Cheese was melted, bubbly, and edges were crispy
